Fenchol, a flavouring component with a bitter, lime-like taste, is naturally occurring in fennel. Classified as one of the less commonly known monoterpenoids in the cannabis plant, Fenchol, also known as fenchyl alcohol, contributes to the plant's unique aroma, resembling basil. Furthermore, it constitutes up to 16% of the oils in certain Aster species.
