Product Info
Sabinene, a naturally occurring bicyclic monoterpene, is commonly extracted from the essential oils of various plants, contributing to its widespread presence in nature. It emits a pleasing aroma characterised by notes of spice, citrus, pine, and woodiness. Notably, Sabinene serves as a major component in carrot seed oil and is responsible for the spiciness in black pepper. It is isolated from essential oils of diverse plants, including tea tree, Holm oak, and Norway spruce, and is also found in a variety of spices such as cardamom, nutmeg, marjoram, basil, and cloves. This monoterpene finds utility in aromatherapy and is equally employed as a flavouring agent in food or the manufacturing of fragrances.
